Chef Paul Owens Chef Paul Owens consistently creates an eclectic variety of exquisite dishes; a truly tempting range that always makes choosing from his menu challenging task. Paul has a special flair for combining contrasting flavours and textures, which together add up to deliciously interesting cuisine. He is also a master of the art of presentation. Not the kind of person to allow success to go to his head, Paul's philosophy is that his reputation is only as good as the next dish to leave his kitchen. Bearing in mind, he works very hard to maintain his standards at all times, paying great attention to even the smallest details. Born in Liverpool, England, Paul Owens has lived in Barbados for some 15 years. Throughout that time he has been followed by a dedicated band of lovers of good food as he moved from one restaurant to another, and then to The Cliff, where he has really made his name. Written up in many of the leading catering magazines, and virtually all top newsstand publications, Paul has been given rave reviews on each of the many occasions that he has been featured. He also appeared on a number of television programmes. Despite his enormous success, Paul remains a modest and very down to earth person.
